Me: Who’re you voting for?
Mom: Barack Obama.
Me: I’m voting for Barack, and not just because he’s good looking.
Mom: He just makes sense to me…

[A minute later:]

Mom: … and he’s good looking.
Me: Yeah, he is!

1. I cannot eat Ramen Noodles, pizza, or chili without a handful of crushed red pepper added to the meal, and then I wonder why my stomach hurts.
2. My goal in life: watch as many horror movies as I possibly can. I aim low.
3. Okay, so I lied. My other goals in life: write a piece of horror fiction that’s picked up by a reputable publisher (not an e-publisher), conquer my fear of responsibility, meet my best internet friends, and make my grandparents proud.
4. It wouldn’t hurt if I learned how to cook either. I burn everything I touch.
5. I’ve made the Dean’s list every full semester I’ve been in college.
6. I’m obsessed with Gabriel “Sylar” Gray. The actor who portrays him, Zachary Quinto, is hot too, but his character is just oh-so-nummilicious. One doesn’t necessarily go with the other.
7. I have an elephant bank (like a piggy bank minus the piggy, plus an elephant) named Bobo. He’s empty.
8. I fall asleep much easier in the daytime than I do at night, probably because I’m so tired from not falling asleep during the night.
9. I once saw an author on a book tour at my local Borders. He was sitting alone, tapping his pen, looking hopeful when I walked in. I wish I would have talked to him. It’s the least I could’ve done.
10. I don’t believe in soulmates, but I know there’s got to be someone out there for me… somewhere… anywhere…. please?
